Mom, Anthony, & I flew out to California on Thursday to celebrate Thanksgiving with Travis and Megan. On Friday, we went to Muir Woods National Monument. It was awesome to see all of the gigantic Redwood trees; we’d like to go see the Redwood Forest some day (but that’s 3 -4 hours from San Francisco).
Yesterday we went hiking at Point Reyes National Seashore. It was so beautiful; I felt like we could have spent days exploring! The only disappointment for me was that we didn’t get to see any whales or elephant seals.
We’re going to have a low key day because it’s supposed to rain all afternoon. Tomorrow and Tuesday we plan to visit Alcatraz and tour the city of San Francisco.  I’ll be sure to post some photos when we get home. : )

Love, heidi.

Hey Heidi,
It is really gorgeous out here. : ) We can’t wait to share the photos (though it probably will take us a little while to get them all posted!) Looking forward to seeing you Saturday!
