Mmmm... soy

I’ve never been a big milk drinker, because I had a mild lactose intolerance growing up. As I got older, I often worried that I wasn’t taking in adequate calcium (most people actually don’t). The problems that I formerly experienced with milk seem to have subsided, but I still find it difficult to just drink milk. Recently, my mom-in-law suggested that soy milk had been improved greatly over the past couple of years (it used to be kind of gross) & that I should try it. So, I’ve been trying to make myself drink about a glass a day. It’s actually pretty good -- especially the chocolate kind. : ) The best part is that it has all of the same nutritional benefits of cow milk (with less saturated fat).

I love silk! vanilla is really good in oatmeal :]
I tried to drink just a glass of it, though, and both times I found it hard to breathe after..I must have some mild allergy to it. =/

By the way, this has nothing to do with milk or your post....but it’s too late to call.  So I just wanted to tell you that we did it today.  It’s official!!!  We got married!  I’ll try and call you between work and more work tomorrow or maybe after all the work is over?  AHHHH!  Just hope for rain between the hours of 4-9 tomorrow and no rain between 9-1.  Love you!

Wow, Jess! Congratulations! I can’t believe you just told me that on my soy milk post... haha. Just couldn’t wait until Saturday, eh?
I’m really happy for you & Terry! May you be abundantly blessed in your marriage. : )

Um, no, I couldn’t wait.  I would’ve called but I was too tired and could barely even type that post or comment.  I had to squint with my face smushed next to the screen.  Can you imagine me smushing my face?  Thanks so much!!!!  We’re still saying husband and wife as often as humanly possible right now.  It’s starting to get ridiculous.  I’ll have to send you the few pictures that we took.  Love you!!!!
