Driving, Day 2

I hope that everyone had a great Memorial Day. Thank God for our wonderful troops, veterans, & their families.  I hope that we’ll never forget their sacrifices & pray that God will protect those who serve our great country.

We covered another 720 miles today, which included the remainder of Illinois, all of Iowa & about half of Nebraska. We passed through some really beautiful country this afternoon, but my camera broke and I couldn’t take any photos. I’m really disappointed!

Tomorrow we’ll continue west into Wyoming, then head south the Steamboat Springs (About 400 miles total). The drive has gone smoothly, but I’m definitely looking forward to a shorter day in the car tomorrow.
