Happy birthday, mom!

Yesterday was mom’s birthday, so I made Brown Eyed Baker’s Oreo look alike cake for the 2nd time. This cake is so good & it looks really pretty:

As you can see, I had a little trouble with the writing on top and smudged the chocolate ganache. Hopefully it will still taste good!

Look Great, Kim!  I just checked out the recipe and I can’t wait to try it!! How did it taste??

Thanks, Heidi.  We aren’t that into chocolate cake, but it was super moist & delicious. : ) I think the only other chocolate cake I’ve ever really liked is the one Brian’s mom made for your shower... That was sooo good.
How are you guys doing? We miss you guys. We should get together soon! Cailin’s birthday gift is still on the floor next to my desk... maybe I should pop it in the mail?
