I totally missed the brave dog in this photo when I added captions! There were actually a bunch of dogs paddling around the shore of the river, but this guy went in after his ball.

I forget if there were 4 or 6 dogs here, but it was a dog-fest, it was so fun.  About the kayaker: the river wasn’t very wide or deep here, and this was the only rapids-section -- a single rapid -- in sight, and the kayaker repeatedly launched himself into it, flipping over and stuff.  So I figured it was probably a training kind of thing.
