Oh really?
| 1 replyI just stumbled upon this article about the relationship between neural stem cells and depression & found it very informative.
In case you don’t have time to read the whole article, here are a few easy recommendations for preventing / alleviating depression:
1. Take a good vitamin. Vitamins that are listed individually are B Complex (especially B12) & vitamin E
2. Calcium / Magnesium / Zinc combination
3. Drink clean water
4. Perform activities and eat foods that promote serotonin
*relaxation techniques, massage, etc
*recommended foods include brown rice, wild
rice, barley, tabbouleh, couscous, oats, millet,
corn, amaranth, squash, pumpkin, sweet potatoes,
yams, carrots, onions, garlic, turnips, celery,
and radishes
5. Moderate exercise
6. Eliminate drinking, smoking, sleep deprivation, infections, allergies, inflammation, and MSG products
7. Cod liver oil (this has always sounded so gross to me & it still does)
8. Ginseng
9. Moderate exposure to sunlight.
