Our trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, was a lot of fun, as always. This year, we did considerably less hiking than we have in the past, but we managed to visit with family, go for two hikes, a nice bike ride, and enjoy the Alpine Slide at Howlsen Hill. We also had two firsts on this trip: whitewater rafting and a rodeo on the 4th of July. It was difficult to leave our family and the picturesque mountains of Steamboat, which is probably my favorite place in the world, but it also feels good to be home.

I just posted six photo sets from our trip

1. The Drive to Colorado
2. Family, Biking, and the Alpine Slide
3. Visit with Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bob
4. Mad Creek Hike
5. 4th of July: Rodeo and Fireworks
6. Drive from Steamboat Springs to Denver

I hope that you enjoy them. : )

Anthony has a much more detailed post about the trip if you’re interested.
