An unlikely weapon...

I’ve recently started to read a blog called Careful Thought, relatively frequently. I stumbled upon the site when researching politics & I’ve found that I agree with the author on many points. Several days ago, this article was the subject of one of his posts. The aforementioned news article describes quite possibly the strangest crime I’ve ever heard of: a man breaks into a home, assaults one man by rubbing spices on him, hits another in the head and face with a sausage (no, seriously), and then flees the scene with stolen money.  The story doesn’t end there, though. The assailant leaves his wallet and identification at the home he has just robbed and flees to an orchard where the authorities catch up with him. When he’s located, the thief is wearing only a t-shirt and underwear (yep, still serious). The article goes on to explain that the money was recovered, but that the weapon was eaten by a dog in the orchard.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any weirder out there...
