Jay Peak
| replyAs both of my readers know, Anthony and I just returned from an awesome skiing trip with Rolly & Margie. This was our second trip as a couple (I used to ski a lot when I was a kid) and Anthony’s first east coast skiing experience. For me, a large part of Jay Peak’s charm is it’s remote location; it isn’t nearly as commercialized as many of the ski resorts I’ve visited in the past. In fact, there is only one hotel (with another currently under construction) and a handful of condominiums at the base of the mountain. Because of this, and because our trip was mostly comprised of week days, our longest wait in the lift line was only a few seconds.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get any fresh snow during our visit & the trails got increasingly icy each day, but we still had an awesome time.
